USA DANCE NATIONAL COLLEGIATE DANCESPORT CHAMPIONSHIP in November 2011.
This event will be held at the Grand Ballroom of Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
The competitor admission price covers the entire weekend of competitions and spectator tickets for Friday and Saturday events at the Ohio Star Ball.
College Competitor Price - $70/person
Formation Team Members - $25/person (For team members who are NOT dancing in any other event, all others MUST pay the $70/person competitor price.)
Please be aware that the Formations Teams will be required to follow the USA Dance rulebook. Please download the rules at www.usadance.org. You will be required to show the routine to our invigilator on Friday night from 6 to 7:30 pm or Saturday morning 6:30 to 7:30 am. Each routine will be given 10 minutes on the floor. If additional time is needed you will have time later Friday night or early Saturday morning prior to the start of the event. You will not be allowed to compete unless we see the routine.
College Coach / Club Sponsor - $30 in advance, $35 at the door - Please send the names of your college coaches/sponsors who will be attending to the register at: nccregistrar@gmail.com by Nov. 4, 2011
Spectator day pass (good only for the collegiate event) - $10
USA Dance Student Athlete Membership Fee - $20
In order to compete at the NCC, you must be (1) a Member of USA Dance, AND (2) be a college student with a valid Student ID, OR (3) 3) have graduated within the last 6 months/previous semester, and be able to show a graduation certificate AND YOUR PARTNER IS STILL A COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY STUDENT WITH A VALID STUDENT ID. (Dropping out of school 2 months ago, does not count.) AND (3) be between the ages of 16 and 35.
For Renewal or new membership go to Web Site - usadance.org, USA Dance Home Page, then click on Membership. The information that follows tells you how to register on-line. Make a copy of the email receipt and bring it with you to use if your membership card does not arrive in time. You will be charged again if you do not have a valid USA Dance membership card or the receipt showing that you have paid.
